Women & Girl’s cricket is growing rapidly

Our women & girls are called the Marko Marvels

The Marvels love playing the game, and more are joining in all the time.

In response to this, we have expanded our women & girl’s cricket and now field two women’s hard ball teams in the East Midlands Womens League & soft ball team who play in festivals & friendly matches. The Marvels were Winners of the Leicestershire & Rutland Performance Indoor league in 2024 & 2025.

Our Women’s teams currently train indoor at Oakham School Sports Hall every Sunday 3pm-4.30pm & then we will move outdoor in April (date TBC)

We currently have three members of our women’s team playing for Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Girls Pathway Teams.

We have girl’s teams who play in the Leicestershire & Rutland Girls League

We will be hosting Girls Dynamos Cricket from May 2026 and we are also holding girls indoor training at Oakham School on Saturdays. Please contact us for more details
