What is it?

No pain, all gain! Soft Ball Cricket is a new, fun, fast, social game for all abilities. Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals are set to take over this summer. Expect something different!


Who are the festivals for?

The Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals are for everyone but specifically aimed at women who have not played cricket before.


What do you need to bring?

Nothing – all equipment is provided including a free t-shirt. There is car parking, changing rooms, music and food. There is no dress code.

MARKOFEST: Family Fun Day and Sausage & Cider Festival.
Saturday, 21st July, 9am 'til late.

So, MarkoFest, what's it all about?

Held in the cricket club grounds and clubhouse, it's a full day of fun activities, stalls and shows for all the family, followed by an evening of craft ciders, hand-made local sausages from the barbecue and live music from local heroes Daytona. The club bar will be open all day from 11am.


What's on?

       From 9am:

  • Car boot sale.
  • Breakfast rolls, tea & coffee served from the barbecue.

       From 11am

  • Kit Car show.
  • Bouncy Castles.
  • Chocolate tombola.
  • Laser clay pigeon shooting.
  • Teacup ride.
  • Candy floss.
  • Hook-a-duck.
  • Human fruit machine.
  • Chocolate lolly making.
  • Cakes.
  • Target golf.
  • Football tyres.
  • Ferneley's local handmade ice creams.
  • Craft stalls.
  • 2pm Dog show.


Cider & Sausage Festival with Live Music - £6 Adults, £3 Children. Tickets include a hot dog and your choice from the salad bar. Tickets are available from the club.


From 6:30pm

  • Craft ciders.
  • Handmade local sausages.
  • Live music from Daytona.


Don't want to drive home, or pay for a taxi, after the festival - why not stay over?

Camp out in our grounds overnight: £10 per pitch, £5 for club members.

There's plenty of room away from the festivities and there will be time to set up before you hit the cider. Though not essential, we strongly advise that you book in advance - you don't want to have to sleep in a tree....
